STAPLE FIBER OVERSPRAYS
The formation of yarns from synthetic and natural staple fibers is a very involved process requiring custom formulated products that accomplish a variety of functions. The staple fiber must be properly lubricated to achieve a delicate balance of surface interactions. The products sold to this area are divided into Lubricants of varying properties, Antistatic agents, and other Auxiliaries consisting of wetters, humectants, softeners, twister lubricants and ring oils.
Lubricants
FIBRO LUBE BLA-2
This product is a blended anionic and nonionic staple fiber finish that imparts bundle cohesion, antistat properties, fiber to fiber cohesion and good fiber to metal lubricity on nylon and other synthetic staple fiber. The spinner when using this product at 0.50-1.00 % owf will realize improved card web strength, reduced powdering at twisting, and reduced hairiness of the yarn.
FIBRO LUBE MLF
This product imparts all the properties of Fibro Lube BLA-2 with lower foaming and improved lubricity both fiber to fiber and fiber to metal. The recommended use level is 0.25-1.00% owf depending on equipment and fiber properties.
FIBRO LUBE PSO-2004B
This lubricant is a very hydrophobic system that imparts excellent fiber to fiber and fiber to metal lubricity. Other advantages from the use of this product are very low smoke, reduced powdering at twisting, low odor and environmentally friendly.

SUESSEN CLEANERS
Alkaline cleaners as well as low-alkalinity cleaners are available, depending on the severity of deposits. Other machine cleaners are also available.
EXTRUSION LUBRICANTS
The extrusion of synthetic fibers and yarns consist of a number of different manufacturing processes. These processes demand dissimilar physical and chemical properties for fiber or yarn formation. The Bulk Continuous Filament (BCF) Extrusion process demands a lubricant that shows high heat stability and the proper surface frictional properties to meet the rigorous mechanical and temperature stresses applied to the polymer being extruded. Typically, these polymers are Nylon, PET, Polypropylene, and PTT. These same polymers are also processed through a different manufacturing procedure, Staple Fiber Extrusion, where a different set of properties is required. Beaming, Slit-Film, and Fibrillated yarn processes are yet another group of manufacturing techniques requiring lubrication with different properties. The Carpet, Textiles, and Custom Products division of Fibro Chem, LLC provides high quality products to meet the demands of all these very different manufacturing procedures.
