| FibroSil SCC-S | FibroSil SCC-S is a high molecular weight anionic silicone ester has the INCI name of Peg-7 Dimethicone Succinate. While FibroSil SCC-S has many of the same properties as FibroSil SC-C7, its anionic nature makes it an excellent material for complexing with cationic surfactants to assist in dispersing them. The addition of SCC-S improves stability in shampoos, body washes and hand cleaners while providing the lubricity and feel of dimethicone. FibroSil SCC-S aids in the reduction of eye and skin irritation often associated with the use of cationic conditioners. | |
| FibroSil STS-PN | FibroSil STS-PN is an anionic silicone polyether that is a very effective wetting agent for use in coatings formulas. FibroSil STS-PN is a good fluorocarbon replacement in floor finish formulas as a leveling additive. FibroSil STS-PN can be over coated and does not cause fish eyes or other surface blemishes in the final coat. | |
| Fibrofac PE | Fibrofac PE is a phosphate ester that is a very effective detergent additive for acid based cleaners and rust removers. Fibrofac PE is used in many difficult cleaning applications and works especially well in acid based aluminum cleaners and rust removers. PE has a much lower corrosion rate when compared to mineral acids. | |
| Fibrofac 82 | Fibrofac 82 is a phosphate ester that has excellent detergent properties and is a very good wetting and foaming agent. Fibrofac 82 is stable in high electrolyte solutions and will act as a solublizer for nonionic surfactants and solvents. | |
Fibrowet FS-1 |
Fibrowet FS-1 is a nonionic fluorosurfactant that will dramatically reduce surface tension of all types of aqueous systems. Low surface tensions can be achieved in both highly alkaline and highly acidic systems. Fibrowet FS-1 is an excellent choice for wetting difficult to wet surfaces such as plastics, oily substrates, waxy surfaces, and silicone treated fabrics. Applications include floor polishes, strippers, paints and coatings, acid based cleaners, and bleach based cleaners. Surface tensions of aqueous based solutions can be reduced to less than 20 dynes/cm. |
