ISD Silicone Emulsions

ISD manufacturers an assortment of polydimethylsiloxane emulsions for a variety of applications. The manufacturing facility at Fibro Chem has state of the art emulsification equipment and our technical staff is experienced in customizing emulsions for a specific customer requirement.

Polydimethylsiloxanes are oil based linear polymers that are water insoluble. Using surfactants and energy, they can be emulsified into oil in water emulsions that are stable and allow the delivery of polydimethylsiloxane with water as the primary solvent. ISD silicone emulsions can be used for many applications that include water based mold release, lubricants, surface protectants, polishes, cosmetic ingredients, fiber lubricants, textile finishes, metal working fluids, and antifoams and defoamers.

FibroSil EM-60 FibroSil EM-60 is a general purpose 60% active silicone emulsion. EM-60 is specially formulated for the automotive aftermarket with a select blend of silicone fluids that provides the optimum in polydimethylsiloxane performance in order to give the best shine and protection. FibroSil EM-60 is a concentrated emulsion that can be blended with water and cationic surfactants to formulate an antistatic agent for web off-set printing, general purpose mold release, and glass lubricant for glass fiber manufacture.
FibroSil EM-60 HG FibroSil EM-60 HG is a specially formulated 60% silicone emulsion that contains polydimethylsiloxanes and organo functional silicones. This emulsion is specially formulated to provide the highest performance and durability for water-based vinyl and tire dressings, durable mold releases and other applications where water based releases are used.
FibroSil EM-60 AF FibroSil EM-60AF is a micro emulsion of a reactive amino functional silicone fluid. FibroSil EM-60 AF is a 70% solids emulsion that can be let down into a clear, stable, water continuous emulsion providing the formulator with a broad range of formulating alternatives. Useful applications include textile softening, as well as household and automotive applications where amino functional fluids are effective.
FibroSil EM-60 HTS FibroSil EM-60 HTS is a 60% active emulsion of hydroxy terminated silicone fluids. EM-HTS has improved durability over traditional polydimethylsiloxane emulsions. EM-60 HTS can be diluted into water to provide a durable, economical release agent for rubber, concrete and other molded parts.
FibroSil EM-350 FG Fibrosil EM-350 FG is a 35% active nonionic emulsion of 350 cst food grade polydimethylsiloxanes and food grade emulsifiers. EM-350 FG is formulated to provide excellent gloss, lubrication and protection to a variety of surfaces where direct or indirect food contact is required.
FibroSil EM-FS-50 FibroSil EM-FS-50 is a fluoro-silicone emulsion that is a very effective base for use in spray-and-wipe auto polishes. EM-FS-50 contains silicone fluoro polymers for the highest effectiveness in gloss and protection.

FibroSil EM-1035

FibroSil EM-1035 is a 35 % active nonionic emulsion of 10,000 cst polydimethylsiloxane.  EM-1035 can be used as is or further diluted with water to form a stable let down of the emulsion.  EM-1035 is effective as a release agent for rubber, plastic and shell metals in foundry use.  EM-1035 can be used as is or further diluted with water.

FibroSil EM-1060

FibroSil EM-1060 is a 60 % active nonionic emulsion of 10,000 cst polydimethylsiloxane.  EM-1060 can be used as is or further diluted with water to form a stable let down of the emulsion.  EM-1060 is effective as a release agent for rubber, plastic and shell metals for foundry use.  EM-1060 has additional applications in leather care, textiles, surface lubrication, surface protection, and gloss improvement.
