FibroSil MHF
FibroSil MHF is a silicone methyl hydrogen fluid that is a clear water-white liquid characterized by a reactive hydrogen group on one or more silicone atoms per molecule. FibroSil MHF readily undergoes condensation reactions with silanol groups and with hydroxyl groups. FibroSil MHF is used as a waterproofing and impregnating agent for textiles, paper and leather; hydrophobing agents for powders, silicas and other fillers.
FibroSil MHF also will undergo addition reactions with unsaturated organic compounds in the presence of noble metal catalysts. It can be used as a component in RTV silicone rubbers, thermal cure rubbers, and in the modification of polyester and methacrylic resins. FibroSil MHF will crosslink with vinyl functional silicone polymers.
